Everyone possesses psychic ability. The difference is that most don't actively work to develop it or trust it (they hear/feel/see alternate realities but do not honour it). There are several ways in which psychic ability manifests and strength in one, it has been suggested, has a genetic link.

Clairvoyance – a supernormal mode of perception, which results in a visual image being presented to the conscious mind - there is a coincidental truth in the visual perception; in some cases as in dreams, or principally in trance, consciousness is absent, and the forms may not only be distant in space or time, but be altogether on another plane of existence (seeing spirits).

Mediumship – ability to be used as a communication instrument by souls in the spirit world in communication with people on the earth plane. Inherited mediumship usually appears spontaneously and early in life, like artistic gifts. Its voluntary development requires great care and understanding. The per centage of female mediums is greater than males. The age of puberty has a peculiar significance.

Premonition – a supernormal indication of events still in the future. True premonitions should meet two fundamental conditions:

1. The fact announced must be absolutely independent of the person to whom the premonition has come.

2. The announcement must be such that it cannot be ascribed to chance or sagacity.

Keys to Developing Your Psychic Ability and Power

Be here now. The more your conscious awareness is focused in the present the more able you are to tap into a broader reality; the reality that exists in a timeless, fluid, unseen world.

Nurture a sense of play with your developing psychic ability. Laughter, un-selfconsciousness, and wondrous curiosity all enhance psychic ability. Remember to keep your 4 primary elements in balance, and maintain a full awareness of them. Fire, (intuition, passion, action) water, (love, flow, receptivity) earth, (practicality, grounding, body awareness) and air (breath, objectivity, intellectual stimulation).
